แถลงการณ์ฉบับที่ 1 คณะผู้หญิงปลดแอก
ขอสนับสนุนและร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของคณะประชาชนปลดแอก
"เราจะเป็นประชาธิปไตยได้อย่างไรถ้าแม้แต่เรื่องร่างกายของเรา สุขภาพอนามัยเจริญพันธุ์ของเรายังถูกควบคุมโดยรัฐ"
รัฐมีบริการ แต่ไม่มีใครรู้ ไม่กล้าประชาสัมพันธ์ เพราะกลัวกฎหมาย หมอที่ช่วยผู้หญิงยังต้องทำไปเสี่ยงไป เสี่ยงกับการถูกตำรวจจับ เสี่ยงจากการถูกหมอด้วยกันประณามหยามเหยียด ว่าให้อับอาย ผู้หญิงต้องเสี่ยงไปทำแท้งไม่ปลอดภัย เสี่ยงถูกจับ เสียทั้งเงิน เสียทั้งเวลา และหลายคนเสียชีวิต
เรื่องราวเหล่านี้ยังคงดำเนินไปในทุก ๆ วัน ในสังคมที่รัฐไม่เคยสนใจชีวิตและความปลอดภัยของประชาชนจริง ๆ
เราขอเรียกร้องให้ ยกเลิกกฎหมายที่เอาผิดทางอาญากับผู้หญิง เพราะนี่คือร่างกายของเรา คือการตัดสินใจของเรา คือความรับผิดชอบที่เรามีต่อชีวิตของเรา คือทางเลือกที่ดีที่สุดที่เราได้เลือกแล้วสำหรับตัวเรา
เราขอเรียกร้องให้ ยกเลิกกฎหมายที่เอาผิดทางอาญากับผู้หญิง เพื่อทำให้เรื่องการเข้าถึงการทำแท้งเป็นบริการสุขภาพอนามัยเจริญพันธุ์ที่แท้จริง
เพื่อไม่ให้มีผู้หญิงคนไหนต้องตาย ต้องบาดเจ็บ ต้องพิการจากการทำแท้งที่ไม่ปลอดภัย
เพื่อไม่ให้ผู้หญิงคนไหนต้องถูกบังคับให้เป็นแม่ โดยที่ยังไม่พร้อมจะเป็น
เพื่อไม่ให้ผู้หญิงต้องถูกตีตราว่าเป็นคนไม่ดี ทั้งที่ได้ป้องกันอย่างดีที่สุดแล้ว
แม้ศาลรัฐธรรมนูญได้วินิจฉัยแล้วว่ากฎหมายลงโทษผู้หญิงที่ใช้มา 63 ปีนี้ขัดต่อรัฐธรรมนูญ
เราเสนอแนวทางแก้ไขที่เป็นไปเพื่อปกป้องคุ้มครองสิทธิของผู้หญิง แต่หน่วยงานที่มีอำนาจ ไม่เคยฟังเสียงของเรา ฟังแต่สมาคมวิชาชีพหมอที่ไม่อยากทำ และตัดสินใจแทนเรา โดยไม่สนใจว่ามีผู้หญิงเท่าไหร่ที่ต้องตายไปเพราะกฎหมายนี้
การต่อสู้ให้มีการแก้ไขกฎหมายทำแท้ง ยกเลิกมาตรา 301 คือการต่อสู้กับระบบผูกขาดอำนาจของระบบสถาบัน ที่ไม่เคยฟังเสียงของประชาชน คือ เรื่องเดียวกันกับการต่อสู้เพื่อประชาธิปไตย
ขอบคุณประชาชนปลดแอกที่ลุกขึ้นสู้ สู้อย่างเข้มแข็ง และสู้ไม่มีถอย เป็นความหวัง เป็นพลังให้กับทุก ๆ คนที่เชื่อมั่นในหลักการประชาธิปไตย เชื่อมั่นในสิทธิ และเสรีภาพของประชาชน
ขอบคุณคนรุ่นใหม่ที่ไม่ก้มหัวให้เผด็จการ ไม่ก้มหัวให้ระบบอำนาจที่ปิดหู ปิดตา ปิดกั้นเสรีภาพในการเข้าถึง ความรู้ เข้าถึงสิทธิ สิทธิที่เป็นของประชาชนทุก ๆ คน
ขอบคุณคนรุ่นใหม่ที่สนับสนุนสิทธิในการเข้าถึงการทำแท้งที่ปลอดภัย

สิทธิในการเข้าถึงการทำแท้งที่ปลอดภัย คือสิทธิผู้หญิง คือสิทธิอนามัยเจริญพันธุ์ คือสิทธิมนุษยชน
หยุดควบคุมสิทธิเสรีภาพของผู้หญิง หยุดคุกคามประชาชน
ยุบสภาได้แล้ว ถ้าแม้แต่คำว่าสิทธิมนุษยชนก็ยังสะกดไม่เป็น

would like to support and stand with the Free People movement.
"We cannot claim to be a true democracy when decisions about our bodies and reproductive health are still controlled by the government"
While abortion services are provided under the government’s policy, people remain afraid to advertise and speak out about them in fear of violating the law, leaving a vast number of people unaware of these valuable services. Doctors who assist women with their abortion still risk getting arrested by the police and being ridiculed by fellow medical professionals who fail to understand the importance of such services.
Women still face the risks of unsafe abortions and arrests, leading to loss of money, loss of time, and even loss of life.
These are things that continue to happen every day in a society where the lives and safety of citizens are ignored by the government.
We are calling for the revocation of the law that criminalizes women for getting an abortion. Our bodies belong to us, so should decisions regarding our bodies and our lives belong to us. We have the right and responsibility to make the best choices for ourselves as people.
We are calling for the revocation of the law that criminalizes women for getting an abortion. Our body belongs to us. Decisions regarding our body and our life must belong to us. We have the right and responsibility to make the best choices for ourselves.
We are calling for the repeal of the law that criminalizes women for getting an abortion, so that abortion as a reproductive health service may become truly accessible to all.
So that no more women shall lose their lives, suffer injuries, or become disabled as a result of an unsafe abortion.
So that no more women shall be forced to become mothers when they are not ready.
So that no more women shall be labeled a bad person despite having taken protective measures as best they could.
Although the Constitutional Court has ruled that the law criminalizing women for abortion (a law that has been in use for the past 63 years) is in contradiction of the constitution, there is much work to be done to protect the women’s rights in practice. Our voices and proposals on how to better protect these rights remain unheard by the institutions with the power to effect change. Our opinions are still ignored in favor of those of medical professional associations that refuse to provide these potentially life-saving services. Our decisions continue to be made by others who ignore all the lives that have been lost as a result of this law.
The fight to change abortion law, to repeal section 301, is a fight against the monopoly of power controlled by institutions that refuse to listen to the voice of the people. It is a fight for democracy.
We thank the Free People Movement for standing up to fight with courage and with unwavering determination. They are the hope for those of us who believe in the principles of democracy and in the rights and freedom of citizens.
We thank the youth who refuse to bow down to dictatorial powers that would aim to silence and blind you and that would keep you from the freedom and knowledge which rightfully belong to the people.
We thank the youth who support the right of women to access safe abortions.
The right to safe abortions is a human right.
Stop controlling women's freedom. Stop terrorizing citizens.
Dissolve the parliament if you cannot spell ‘human rights.’
Fix the constitution
